Anne Emmons Bio
Anne Emmons is a native of Colorado and has lived in Chile, Washington, California, Minnesota and Hawaii. She earned a BFA from University of Colorado at Denver along with study in geology. She completed an MFA in painting at Azusa Pacific University, Los Angeles in 2010. Her work ranges from drawing to water media, egg tempera on wood panels, encaustic, mixed media, and installation. Her attention in art making is most often held by the human person, and her response through artwork is inspired by the wondrous complexity of that subject. Anne's work has been shown in Denver, Santa Fe, Los Angeles, Massachusetts, and Portland. Her life as an artist and educator continues to open new directions.
