Credit for Prior Learning by CLEP (College Level Examination Program) Checklist

Read through CCCS policy (pdf) to review available CLEP exams for community college credit
Review CLEP web site for test content and review materials
Contact RRCC Assessment Center staff to schedule a CLEP examination date and time
- The College Board fee for the CLEP is $72 and must be paid by credit card at time of test administration
- The RRCC proctoring fee is $25 and can be paid by check, cash or credit card
- Test may be taken at any CLEP-approved site, with scores forwarded to RRCC
Successfully complete CLEP
Earn a minimum of one credit at RRCC
Credits are posted to Red Rocks Community College transcript

These are general hours of operation and may vary on holidays and during semester breaks. The various programs have specific test times and rules.
