All GED testing is done on the computer and at a Pearson VUE Authorized Test Centers. Red Rocks Community College Assessment Center on the Lakewood campus is an Authorized Test Center. The GED testing program certifies attainment of high school-level academic knowledge and skills and serves as the only nationally recognized high school equivalency program.

To take the GED test, you must complete registration through www.ged.com and create an account. Once you have created an account, you will complete the registration and schedule your exam through your account. Once you are authorized to take the GED test, you will be able to go online and schedule the exam at a testing center. If you have questions, please call 877-EXAM GED.

Students under the age of 17 will need to obtain an age waiver application from the State Department of Education at 303-866-6613.
