By nominating a student, you are opening the door for well-deserved recognition and, more importantly, you are showing a youth that someone from our community cares about them and their success.
Nominators are Champions of Youth who know that for Arvada and Wheat Ridge to always be great, we all need to get involved and take action for our community’s future. Nominators provide identified youth the opportunity to be recognized in the public arena.
Recognized youth are awarded a certificate from AWRSAY, their name is placed in the congressional record, and may qualify for either a youth development grant or a scholarship to Red Rocks Community College.
