Biology Degree: Associate of Science

The completion of the following courses in the attachment below is appropriate if you are planning to transfer to a four-year college or university to complete a major in biology. You should consult with a biology faculty advisor before beginning any program of study. These courses provide the basic preparation leading to Biology related careers. Some courses might not be offered each semester.

Academic Excellence/Program Highlights


Enrollment continues to skyrocket in Biology classes at RRCC. The Red Rocks Biology Department is one of the only community college departments to offer successful study-abroad trips to such exotic places as Belize, Costa Rica, Mexico and Hawaii. Students obtain firsthand knowledge of the subject material through study abroad and within state field trips.

Biology is a program within the Science department, which is located at the Lakewood campus, 2nd floor
