This program provides the knowledge and skills for entry into the air conditioning, heating and refrigeration industry in the areas of installation and maintenance as well as upgrading and refresher courses for those already employed in the field. All heating, air conditioning, and refrigeration classes will be updated to reflect today’s changing energy efficiency requirements. LEED requirements will be incorporated into all curriculum and additional classes will be offered to support the new energy efficiency needs. New students should contact Sarah Burger at 303.914.6273. Bachelor of Science transfer program: All Construction Technology Associate of Applied Science graduates are eligible to participate in the Colorado Community College Pathways program, a strategic partnership between DeVry University – Colorado and Red Rocks Community College. Students may transfer 80+ credit hours from Red Rocks Community College to DeVry University and complete a Bachelor of Science in Technical Management in as few as two semesters. Additionally, graduates of the HVAC/R Program may transfer to Ferris State University to pursue a baccalaureate degree. Contact your Construction Technology advisor for details.
