Certificate Programs Certificates are designed to provide intensive training in the vocational areas listed below. Certificates are usually completed in a year or less. |
| Cisco Network Associate This certificate prepares the student to take the Cisco INTRO and Cisco ICND (Interconnecting Network Devices) certification exams equating to the Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification. Content includes basic network principles, basic router and switch configuration, Intermediate routing and switching, and Wide Area Networking (WAN). Focus is on hands-on performance and assessment. |
| Clerical Assistant This program is designed to prepare you for entry-level positions and/or advancement in business, governmental agencies, and other institutions which employ persons in the clerical occupations. |
| Computer Support Technician This certificate provides both hardware and operating systems experience needed to work as a support person for both local and wide area network environments. |
| Game Development This certificate prepares the student for entry level programming positions in the gaming industry. The student will have the opportunity to work with an industry standard gaming engine. |
| Microsoft Application Developer (MCAD) This certificate provides the skills necessary to develop and maintain applications, components, Web or desktop clients and back-end data services using the MS .NET technology. |
| Microsoft Database Administrator (MCDBA) This certificate provides students with the skills necessary to design, implement, and administer Microsoft SQL Server databases. |
| Microsoft Network Systems Administrator (MCSA) This certificate provides the skills necessary to manage and troubleshoot system environments based on Microsoft Windows Platforms. |
| Microsoft Network System Engineer (MCSE) This area of emphasis provides the skills necessary to design and implement an infrastructure solution based on the Windows platform and Microsoft Servers software. |
| Office Professional This program is designed to prepare you for entry-level positions and/or advancement in business, governmental agencies and other institutions which employ persons in the office occupations. |
| Oracle Database Administrator This area of emphasis provides you with the necessary skills to design, implement, and administer an Oracle Database. |
| PC Applications Specialist This certificate prepares you as an entry-level microcomputer specialist with an emphasis in applications. Upon completion of the course work, you will be prepared to sit for the Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) examinations for MOS certification. |
| Programming Specialist This certificate prepares you as an entry-level programmer. Upon completion of this program, you will have written a minimum of 30 programs ranging from simple business programs to the design and completion of a complex business system. |
| Web Design This certificate prepares you for an entry-level position in Internet Web design. The student will learn necessary skills using a variety of our programs, all focusing on page design and implementation. |
| Web Development The recipient of this certificate should be prepared for an entry-level position in Internet Web development with a focus on the programming and database aspects of Web sites. Course offerings provide a mix of programming and applications that examine both the client and server aspects of Web sites. Creation of dynamic Web pages involving databases is explored. |
