Tuition
How much does the chef's apprenticeship program cost?
The tuition for the three year program is $3,300. This includes all
technical related classes, books and uniform.
Additional costs are: maintaining a national membership with the American Culinary Federation,
which is currently $80 per year.

It is an option, but highly recommended to complete 6 general education
credits per year, 18 credits total for the three year program (see RRCC tuition schedule).
This will result in an Associate of Applied Science Degree in Culinary Arts.
Many of the sponsoring establishments will reimburse all or part of your
tuition.
Note: Applicants will be selected without regard to race, color,
religion, sex or national origin. It is our intention to accept every student
that applies to the program.
Completed applications and the first year tuition ($900) are due September 6,
2012.
All chefs' apprentices will be registered with the Bureau of Labor &
Training on September 6, 2012.
