Associate of Arts
The Associate of Arts degree (60 credits) is for the student who intends to transfer to a four-year college or university and wants an education with a liberal arts emphasis. This degree provides a basis of study in business, communications, foreign languages, the arts and humanities, and social and behavioral sciences. To earn the Associate of Arts degree, you must complete the state designated general education requirements for a total of 38-42 credits. New Designated Degrees: Transfer into a Specific Degree Program at Your Four-Year School of Choice
As of
Summer 2011, RRCC is now offering Designated Degrees which guarantee junior status at any four-year Colorado public institution.
These degrees are 60 credits at the community college level plus 60-68 credits
to complete your bachelor's degree. We offer the following Designated
Degrees:
- Associate of Arts (AA) degree
(This degree is effective now, but is not reflected in the 2011-2012 catalog.)
