Emergency & Public Safety Department
at Red Rocks Community College!

Our department offers a number of exciting programs related to emergency and public services, all of which lead to an associate degree and/or certificate.

The majority of courses in the Emergency and Public Service Department are delivered in the traditional classroom setting, as much of the learning requires hands-on experiences. However, a growing number of courses are now offered in a variety of ways, including traditional classroom, distance learning, online, and self-study.

Faculty and staff stand ready to assist you as you explore career possibilities and plan a schedule in the areas of Criminal Justice, Emergency Management and Planning, Emergency Medical Services, Fire Science, Law Enforcement Training, or Park Ranger. Department administration offices are open from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. Look for the Emergency and Public Safety Department on the Red Rocks Lakewood Campus, in the southwest end of the building.
