The Financial Aid office strongly recommends that students apply for aid with the above dates in mind. These are not deadlines, but recommended dates to have your application in to the federal processor.
After you apply, it will take some time for RRCC to receive your information from the federal processor. There is additional time needed to review each file, request any needed documentation, and/or submit changes to your file. Our goal is for the student to have a completed record and award prior to the start of classes for the term they are enrolling.
Again, these are not deadlines; however, if students apply after these dates, the review of these applications will have to wait until those files received first are reviewed and awarded.
To ensure that your application is in step with the awarding process, please be sure that Red Rocks Community College has your correct mailing address and contact information. It is the student's responsibility to have updated information with the college.
