2008-2009
Stafford loan is the name given to both subsidized and unsubsidized federal loans to students.
The PLUS is the Parent Loan for Undergraduate Students. Parents of dependent students may
apply for PLUS.

To apply for a loan, please visit the website of the lender.
RRCC will receive your request electronically when your loan application is complete.

We recommend these lenders based on the quality of products and services they provide to students and families. We have carefully considered our selections in order to provide you with the best possible list of suggested lenders. However, if you wish to use another lender that is not on this list, you have the right to do so. Please be sure that your lender allows Stafford loans/PLUS to community college students. You will need to fill out a master promissory note (MPN) in order to borrow a Stafford loan. It is good for 10 years. Each PLUS requires a credit check and new promissory note.
