FIW 277 Martial Arts Weapon Making

  A class designed to teach beginner woodworkers how to shape and create their own practice martial arts weapons. Weapons which will be made may include tanto, bokken, bo-staff, nuchuka, tonfas, kamas, and escrima. Class meets on 5 Saturdays during the semester, plus additional times as arranged.

FIW 277 Woodworking Unplugged

  It is recommended that the student take either the Maquetry Workshop or the Decorative Veneer Workshop, as these panels could be utilized in the construction of the project. Due to the intense natural and unique quiet environment required for this type of woodworking, this course will  meet together for the first 7 weeks on a Sunday afternoon.  Throughout this period, additional days and times will be  arranged with the instructor.  These Sundays go online for specific Sundays and more thorough description of the class. (1/27, 2/17, 3/2, 3/16, 3/23, 4/19, 4/20)
