The school is located within the foothills of the Rocky Mountains, in Lakewood, Colorado.  We offer a unique and intensive hands-on program.

Our program is well suited to fit your goals; whether that is to pursue a career in woodworking, or merely hone your skills as a hobbyist.

The approach taken at our school is a combination of old-world and modern techniques.  Rand Richards is a classically trained woodworker who has spent many years designing and building custom furniture.

In addition we have a shop manager and 19 instructors. The breadth of experience at Red Rocks is second to none.

Your average class will have 12 - 15 students. In addition to your instructor there will probably be one or two teacher assistants in the class.
