New Images Program

The "average" student at a community college could be anyone from a 70-year-old grandmother to an 18-year-old recent high school graduate. The New Images Program is designed to meet a special need of Red Rocks Community College's female students. New Images provides women with gently used career appropriate clothes so that they are better prepared to enter or return to the workplace. This service is provided free of charge to not only RRCC students, but also women from the larger community. For women unable to afford professional clothing, New Images provides needed assistance and support during an important life transition.

New Images generally supplies each woman with five or six items of apparel suitable for the workplace. This would not be possible with out donations of clothing from our generous supporters. New Images is always seeking gently used clothing items (i.e. no obvious tears, stains, missing buttons or broken zippers) that are suitable for a professional setting. Please contribute those items you would feel comfortable wearing to an interview or to the office.  

We accept:

• Business suits (skirts and pants)
• Jackets or blazers
• Skirts and slacks
• Dresses
• Blouses
• New nylons
• New and nearly new shoes
• Scarves, purses, belts, jewelry
• Unused cosmetics
• Day runners, portfolios, and briefcases

All size clothes are needed, but our most urgent need is size 16 and above.
