Guest Speaker: Weldon Long
Weldon Long is the author of The Upside of Fear, in which he tells the story of how he stopped his personal 20-year cycle of prison, poverty and addiction through visualization, planning and gaining mastery over “FEAR” (Focus, Emotional Commitment, Action, Responsibility). By the time he was released from his third and final trip to the penitentiary in 2003, Mr. Long had earned a Bachelors degree and an MBA; he is now the CEO of a multimillion-dollar business and an award-winning author.
Weldon Long will be visiting RRCC’s Lakewood campus on August 27 from 1:00 - 4:00 in the Community Room to tell the story of his profound experiences. This event is open to all, first come first served. Copies of The Upside of Fear will be available for purchase and Mr. Long will be holding a book signing after the event. We hope to see you there!
