Is the pre-test required before I take the Official GED test?
The pre-test is NOT required prior to taking the Official GED test.

How much is the pre-test?
The pre-test is FREE.

What is the purpose of the pre-test?
The pre-test helps you determine if you are ready to take the Official GED test. The pre-test shows you what subject areas you may need to work on.

What do I need to do to begin taking the GED preparation class?
First, you need to complete the pre-test.  (see campus locations & times)

What do I need to do in order to register and begin taking the preparation class?
You need to do the following:

  1. Take the pre-test.
  2. Meet with a GED instructor to approve your registration.
  3. Fill out an admissions application online (click on Apply for Admission) or you can apply in person.
  4. If you are a resident of  Colorado, complete the College Opportunity Fund application (COF) online (click on Apply for Stipend).
