GED Preparation Course

All students interested in taking the GED Preparation class must complete the GED Pre-test first.

Your scores on the pre-test indicate whether you are ready to take the official GED test. If passing the GED tests requires some preparation on your part, we offer a GED preparation course at the Lakewood and Arvada campuses for those whose scores qualify them for enrollment..

The preparation course is individually instructed and self-paced to help you master crucial academic skills and strategies to pass the exam. 

• This class is “open enrollment”
  Students can register any time during the semester.

• One-on-one tutoring is provided.

• Tuition is approximately:
  • $ 96.60 – Resident
  • $ 376.70 – Non-resident

• GED materials are available for use in the Academic Resource Center. For your use away from campus, GED books can be purchased in the Red Rocks bookstore.
