Part-time Instructor Hiring Procedures

The Personnel Office at Red Rocks Community College maintains a talent pool of part-time instructors. Department chairs hire part-time instructors directly and when they are in need of an instructor, the first place they look is the talent pool.  A background check is required prior to hire.  Background check forms are available on the job opportunities page.

Salary

Lecture classes - $583.80 per credit hour

Vocational Lecture Lab - $875.70 per credit hour

Science classes, including labs - $875.70 per credit hour

Studio art or PE activity - $1,167.60 per credit hour

Physician Assistant Program - $1,459.50 per credit hour
