| Red Rocks is more supportive of students' freedom of expression and freedom to express unpopular or divergent ideas than other community colleges in the metro area. In that respect I find it more akin to the universities than other community colleges. |
| Our campus is fairly homogeneous. For this reason, many students resist new or different ways of thinking. This is an issue that comes up during GLBT events, diversity training, and other events on campus. Steps should be taken to encourage students of different backgrounds, and races to attend RRCC. Perhaps more outreach into minority communities, scholarships, etc. |
