Create an Exciting Future for Yourself with an Industrial Science & Operations Degree

A Process Technician monitors, manipulates and controls mechanical, physical and/or chemical changes throughout many processes to produce a final product made from raw materials. Demand for process operators is worldwide.

Process Technicians are multi-skilled. Technicians will

  • Operate and control the industrial process,
  • Control, monitor and troubleshoot equipment,
  • Analyze, evaluate, and communicate about data, and
  • Maintain a safe work environment.

What are some of the  technical skills that are required?

  • Quality control,
  • Health, Safety and the Environment
  • Instrumentation
  • Basic Math and Science
  • Computer operations

A two year college degree can lead to a career with an entry level salary of as much as $40,000.00 a year.

If you are graduating from high school or thinking about changing careers, an Associates Degree in Industrial Science & Operations might be for you. Career opportunities exist in many industries:
