Rockies Alliance for Process Technology
RAPT (Rockies Alliance for Process Technology) was officially formed in February 2004. The alliance was created between educators and industry with the common goal of providing qualified candidates for industry and job opportunities for area residents. As a result of the collaboration, an association of education providers, business and industry partners, and government and community groups have come together to develop a comprehensive process technology education program.
The Rockies Alliance is presently formed around its core regional community colleges. These schools include Red Rocks Community College, San Juan Community College, Colorado Mountain College, Western Wyoming Community College, and Bismarck State College. Our industry partners are both regional and national based and include Arizona Public Service, BP America, EnCana Oil and Gas (USA) Inc., Molson Coors Brewing Company, Shell Exploration and Production, Suncor Energy USA, Williams Exploration and Production, and Xcel Energy.
This partnership model has proven to be a strong force in establishing a process technology program that will meet the needs of the modern workforce.
