Grades & Transcripts

The Community Colleges of Colorado have converted to a new computer system. This has changed both how you view your grades and order your transcript.

Did you take classes before the Summer of 1996?
You will not be able to use the web to order a transcript. However, you can print the form and either fax or mail it to Student Records.

To order a transcript you may:

• Use the web
  You will be using your user ID and 6 digit PIN.  Your user ID starts with the letter ‘R’ or  ‘S’.  Your PIN is your birth date (mmddyy).
  or
• Print the form
  • mail the form to the address above
  • fax the form to 303-989-6919

Phone requests are only accepted for transcripts sent to other colleges. Call Student Records at 303-914-6352.

Privacy Notification

The Family Education Rights and Privacy Act of 1974 permits Red Rocks Community College to release "directory information" about you to interested parties. "Directory Information" does not include grades, but does include the following:

• Your name
• Major field of study
• Participation in officially organized activities and sports
• Dates of attendance
• Degrees, certificates and awards received
• Most recent previous education and educational institution attended
• Date and place of birth
• Full-time or part-time status
• Grade level

If you do not want us to release directory information about you without your specific consent, please notify the Student Records Office at 303.914.6356. For more information, email susan.kumpf@rrcc.edu.

Transfer of Credits

If you are pursuing a degree or certificate and wish previous college credits to be considered for transfer, submit official transcripts to Student Records no later than the semester preceding graduation. If you are a veteran using V.A. benefits, you must submit transcripts of all previous postsecondary education and training within the 30 days after the beginning of your first class. Enrollment/Degree Verification

Red Rocks Community College has authorized the National Student Clearinghouse to provide enrollment and degree verifications.

Phi Theta Kappa

PTK is located on the top of your transcript from the point of your initiation. A PTK sticker is also attached to your diploma at the time of graduation.

Honors List

The honors list is meant to recognize students who have achieved an outstanding level of academic success. Qualifications for the list include:

• Earned a cumulative grade point average of 3.85 or higher. This GPA is taken from your last semester completed, not the current semester.
• Taken at least 15 credits at RRCC for a degree and at least 50% of required coursework for a certificate at RRCC
• Completed requirements for any degree
• Completed the requirements for any certificate containing at least thirty credits or more
• Completed and submitted a graduation application by the specified due date
