Campus Life

Red Rocks is a commuter campus, and no housing is available at the College itself. However, students find that life at Red Rocks and throughout metropolitan Denver is thriving.

Although PA students often complain that their schedules are too busy to take advantage of some of the resources available, the campus offers a variety of social activities, including group tickets for professional athletic events, group mountain climbing and hiking activities, a fully equipped exercise facility and a variety of special-interest clubs.

Nearly all PA students belong to the Red Rocks PA Student Society, an affiliate of the Student Academy of the American Academy of Physician Assistants (SAAPA). As members, students have voting representation at national meetings, and many of our students have taken advantage of the opportunity to attend the annual national convention of the American Academy of Physician Assistants each spring. The Student Society also plans special recreational activities, including mixers, bowling, hiking and other social events.
