Welcome to the Political Science Program

Red Rocks Community College offers an Associate of Arts Degree with an emphasis in Political Science.

Political Science is the study of how political systems are created, the nature of the social contracts between people and governments, political parties, political behavior and the evolution of political institutions.

Political Science offers courses leading to an Associates of Arts Degree, which provides the first two years of course work towards a Bachelor of Arts. The AA and our guaranteed core courses are designed to transfer to Colorado's public four-year colleges and universities.
