Greening Lakewood Business Partnership : RRCC Commercial Energy Students Improve Local Businesses Bottom Line
RRCC students help Lakewood businesses save money by making energy efficient changes to buildings. Lakewood's The Learning Source (a business that specializes in job training and workforce development) partnered up with RRCC's Renewable Energy Program (Commercial Energy) and Alameda Gateway Community Association. As a team they worked together to save thousands of dollars every year by adjusting the building's energy consumption. By utilizing RRCC's energy auditing class, curriculum was developed for this real world project, and solutions were developed. Click below for more.
