Thank you for your interest in our specialized casino training course. Listed below is the course description for the RRTI 329 Slot Floor Mechanic course. Upon completion of this course you will have the skills necessary to obtain a position in the gaming industry as a Slot Mechanic.
Slot Floor Mechanic Course - This course is designed to prepare the student for a career in the maintenance of slot machines. The course covers daily slot floor attendant procedures, which include identifying errors, pay outs of jackpots, filling empty machines, basic machine malfunctions and compliance with regulatory paperwork. The course will then cover slot mechanic responsibilities which will include: theory of different components of slot machines, troubleshooting and repair, conversions, slot math and accounting practices, slot layout and analysis, progressive theory and programming and regulatory compliance.
The cost for the Slot Floor Mechanic course is $1,800.00.
Class will meet four nights a week (Monday through Thursday from 5:00pm to 9:00pm) for four weeks. Please call to register as soon as possible, space is limited.
