Children’s Personal Belongings
Each Red Rocks Community College School-Age Child Care site is equipped with a personal cubby or basket for your child’s belongings. Cubbies and baskets are provided to protect the personal belongings of each child. RRCC SACC is not responsible for any lost or stolen items.
If items are left on site, RRCC SACC staff will place the belongings in a safe area and notify parents. If items are left more than three days, items will be placed in the school’s lost and found.
Items from home are welcomed on site. Although items from homes are welcomed, if the school does not allow for those items to be brought, the RRCC SACC programs must enforce all school policies.
Children’s Money
On special outings such as field trips, children often want the freedom of having a few dollars to spend on a special souvenir or candy treat. RRCC SACC does not object to children brining money. We do ask that the money be kept in a safe and private place. RRCC SACC staff also ask that the amount sent with the child is reasonable and not excessive.
There will be times that staff ask parents to contribute tot eh cost of a field trip of site activity. In those cases, please give the money directly to the Site Manager.
All money that is lost or stolen is the responsibility of the parent; RRCC SACC will not be held liable for such incidents.
