| Scholarships for 2008-2009
Requirements
To be considered for scholarships, a student must fulfill the following
requirements:
- Apply for Admission to RRCC
- Be a Colorado resident
- Be a U.S. citizen or eligible non-citizen
- Complete a scholarship application

GED Scholarship
Eligibility:
- Jefferson County GED recipient
Covers: Tuition only for one semester
Deadline: June 30 for fall semester; December 15 for spring semester

High School Centennial
Scholarship
Eligibility:
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.75 on a 4.0 scale
Covers: 6, 9 or 12 credit hours of tuition and student fees for one academic year
*Value: $2082

High School Senior Achievment
Eligibility:
- Early graduation completion requirements by December
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale
Covers: Tuition only for up to 9 credit hours for spring semester 2009.

Columbine Remembrance
Eligibility:
- High school counselor nomination
- Volunteer service or community involvement, brief

- Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale
- 2008 Jefferson County graduate
Covers: Two academic years (fall
and spring) $1,250 per semester
*Value: $5,000

Honors Program
Scholarship
Eligibility:
- Become a member of the Honors Program
(minimum GPA of 3.5)
- Letter of recommendation and transcript
- 500 word essay
- High school graduate 2008
Covers: Up to 18 credits a semester
*Value: Up to $6,430.50
Deadline: Week prior to the beginning of fall and spring semesters

Scholarships
The Foundation provides over $200,000 in scholarships

Eligibility:
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0 on a 4.0 scale
- Enrolled in six credits or more at RRCC
Covers: One or two semesters (varies
per scholarship)
Value: Average award $600 per semester (varies per scholarship)

First Generation

- Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.25 on a 4.0 scale

*Value: $1,851.60
