General Scholarship Requirements
To be considered for scholarships, a student must fulfill the following requirements:- Apply for admission to RRCC at www.rrcc.edu/admis/
- Be a Colorado resident
- Be a U.S. citizen or eligible non-citizen
- Complete a scholarship application
High School Graduates Only:
Columbine Remembrance
Eligibility:
- High school counselor nomination, essay and high school transcript
- Volunteer service or community involvement, brief essay
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale
- 2012 Jefferson County high school graduate
- Must be enrolled full-time (12 credits) each semester
Covers: Two academic years (fall
and spring) $1,250 per semester
*Value: $5,000

First Generation Scholarship
Eligibility:
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.25 on a 4.0 scale
- Nomination by high school counselor or teacher, essay and transcript
- First generation college student
- 2010 Jefferson County high school graduate
Covers: 12 credit
hours of tuition only (no fees) for one academic year (fall and spring)
*Value: $2310

High School Senior Achievement
Eligibility:
- Early graduation completion requirements by December
- Jefferson County high school graduate
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale
Value: Up to $952.25

RRCC Foundation Scholarships (Current and Incoming RRCC Students)
Eligibility:
- Enrolled in six credits or more at RRCC each semester (fall and spring)S
- Some awards have preferences for minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0 or higher
Covers: One or two semesters (fall and spring)
Value: Average award $500 per semester (varies per scholarship)

Phi Theta Kappa/Honors Scholarship
Eligibility:
- Must be a continuing RRCC student
- Become and maintain membership in Phi Theta Kappa (minimum GPA of 3.5 to join and maintain 3.2 for good standing)
- Enrolled in six credits or more at RRCC each semester (fall and spring)
- Must enroll in the 4 credit PTK/Honors course in fall OR spring
Covers: Two semesters (fall and spring) $600 per semester
*Value: $1200
