In addition
to completing an application for admission, you will need to provide
the following documents listed below, depending on which chapter of VA Educational
Benefits for which you qualify.
All veterans and dependants need to apply for their benefits online at the following website, http://vabenefits.vba.va.gov/vonapp/main.asp
once completed, bring a copy of the application along with:

If you are
a new GI bill or VEAP (Chapters 30 and 32) recipient, you will
need a certified copy of your DD-214. Certification can be accomplished
either through the VA office or the county clerk's office in
the county in which you live.

If you qualify
for both the new GI bill and the old one, copies of your marriage
license and the birth certificates of your dependent children
are required, along with the certified DD-214.

If you are
a member of the National Guard/Reserve (Chapter 1606), you will
need a copy of your DD-2384 (NOBE). Obtain this form through
your unit.
If you are a
dependent of a veteran either deceased or permanently disabled due
to a service-related injury (Chapter 35), contact the local VA office
for information on how to apply for these benefits. The toll free

If you are a
veteran with a permanent service-related injury, contact the regional
VA office at 1.800.827.1000.
