3D Learning in the Water Quality management Program
The Water Quality Management program just completed an intricate visual educational display for their Water Distribution class (WQM 109). A model of a fictional community was created to physically demonstrate a variety of distribution areas of concern, including:

- Traffic control with mainline work
- Source water contamination sources
- Multiple storage and tank management
- Fire hydrant flushing
- Hydraulic dead ends
- Sample locations and protocol
- Grid systems
- Water shed
- Cross connections
- Confined space equipment
The department is very excited to add
this unique teaching tool to the program
which will be available to students for the
Fall 2010 semester.
