Welcome to the Department of Environmental Technology (Natural Resource Management) & Water Quality Management at Red Rocks Community College
The Environmental Technology (Natural Resource Management (NRM)) and Water Quality Management Technology (WQM), part of the Environmental Training Center at Red Rocks Community College, are comprehensive programs for all levels and areas of operations in the air, soil, water and wastewater industry.
If you are entering the field, you will be introduced to the many functions and career opportunities within the field and can then establish an educational program that best fits your goals and interests.
If you are already working in the industry, you can obtain the education and skill levels needed for higher operator certification. We also offer courses or seminars in new technology, regulatory changes and material/equipment.
Our department offers courses leading to associate of applied science degrees.

The Water Quality Management Technology Program is in Environmental Training Center at the Lakewood Campus.
