Welcome to Water Quality Management Technology

The Water Quality Management Technology (WQM) program at Red Rocks Community College is a comprehensive program that prepares students for employment in water and wastewater operations. If you are already working in the industry, the WQM program offers courses that apply to higher operator certification.

Most of the WQM activities are supported by a grant from the National Science Foundation (NSF) or the Trade Adjustment Assistance Community College and Career Training (TAA)-Department of Labor. These grants fund activities such as curricula redesign for hybrid and distance learning, the creation of a mobile teaching lab, supporting student success through career coaching, and coordinating job readiness training and professional networking events.
