Reflect on the Data
Looking at the information gathered, what do I know, what do I still need to know?
Based on the information gathered, an educator can ask "What do I know about this child?" Areas to examine closely may include: development, personality and/or temperament style, learning preferences and styles, child's strengths, and child's interests.
After following this line of thinking, the educator can widen their reflection around what might be missing: "Are there gaps in my information or knowledge about this child - what do I still need to know?"
Data to reflect on:

- Is this child typically developing?
- [Put the link to child development charts here]
- General temperament / personality style
- Learning preferences
- Strengths and interests on which to capitalize
- Is this child typically developing?
- Possible need to know
- Considerations from home
- Past experiences, behaviors, and relationships
- What I don’t know and should learn more about
