Observe and Collect Data
What kinds of recommended resources are available for collecting data through observation?
There are many different formats for collecting information about children. Some programs have specifics forms or online formats that you will need to use. Others do not have a formalized system for collecting data so we have provided you with a variety of options which may be useful. Each observation template is meant to provide you with unique information; we have formats for both individual and group observation. In addition, we have included technology information from the Colorado Department of Education.
Observation formats
All forms are available for download in two versions: a usable form and an annotated version including an explanation of the form's elements and guidelines for its use.
