Suggested Courses for Transfer

The completion of the following suggested courses is for those planning to transfer to a four-year college or university and complete a major in Engineering. Consult with an advisor before beginning this program of study as some transfer schools will prefer you to transfer before completing all of the courses listed below. These courses provide the basic preparation leading to Engineering related careers (a combination of chemistry, physics, math and engineering design classes). Students finishing the Engineering Transfer program may only be two courses from an AS degree at RRCC.

  • EGT 140 Introduction to Design and Engineering Applications (transfer to Colorado School of Mines as EPICS I; to CU-Boulder as GEEN1400)
  • MAT 201 Calculus I

  • MAT 204 Calculus III
  • MAT 261 Differential Equations
  • PHY 211 Physics: Calculus-based I
  • PHY 212 Physics: Calculus-based II
