Fall Classes Still Available!

We still have class options available for Fall 2020.  Check out the RRCC Accelerated Classes webpage to view a list of classes that have not started yet.

We at RRCC are so excited for the fall semester!

Since our early announcement we would be primarily remote for the Fall 2020 semester, we have been working to ensure that our students will be provided with a safe, and engaging experience, whether attending online, remotely, or partially in-person in a small number of hybrid courses.  These are our basic modalities, but the details of your courses will reflect individual decisions made by your instructors and faculty with the best interests of students at heart.

We have provided information below about RRCC’s response to COVID-19, and we recognize that you may have more questions.  Please reach out if we can be of assistance in any way.  Our goal is that each student will feel confident, be safe, and find success at Red Rocks.  We are here for you!

Will classes be more expensive since they are mainly online?

Students taking the remote and hybrid courses will pay the on-campus rate for tuition. The online courses labeled RRCCOnline or CCCOnline will be the only courses that pay the online tuition rate. Click here for full details on tuition and fees. Payment Plans are available, and you may qualify for Financial Aid.

The Recreation Center Bond/Operating Fees along with the parking fee will not be charged for remote and hybrid classes in the Fall 2020 semester.  This is a savings of up to $135.86 for the term.

How are we preparing for these modified class formats?

In order to provide an outstanding learning experience for our students, we will be providing all of our faculty with professional development opportunities to work together to learn how to best use digital media for remote and hybrid instruction and continue to provide engaging virtual classroom spaces. While we had to transition rapidly in the spring, we have the opportunity this fall to be prepared and more intentional about designing and delivering your courses.

The summer semester will primarily be conducted online. There are a few classes however that require a physical presence on campus and we are hoping to be able to offer the physical component in July. These are hybrid courses, which means there will be both online and on-campus instruction. For more information on course delivery, check the NOTES section for each course. Search for classes online.
