Fall Classes information

Fall schedule is complete and all courses are open for registration

Dear Valued Student,
Thank you for your patience and flexibility as we have prepared a Fall 2020 semester schedule that will ensure safety for all. In the spring, we all had to adjust swiftly to online course delivery. For fall, we’ve been able to plan ahead to produce the best outcomes for students, staff, and faculty.
We are happy to announce that the changes to our Fall schedule are complete and REGISTRATION FOR ALL CLASSES IS NOW OPEN! Please see the chart below for more information on the class formats, delivery modes, locations, and costs.

Although the past couple of weeks may have caused confusion and even frustration, your safety and success remain our top priorities. We believe the range of options we devised will help you coordinate your education goals with others parts of your life, such as work schedules, childcare, and family life.

We are committed to return to campus in a safe and sustainable way that allows for the highest quality learning experience possible. In preparation for our new academic year, we wanted to let you know we remain dedicated, now more than ever, to the goal of enriching your life educationally, professionally, and personally. This includes offering suitable class formats, or modes of instruction, for our currently scheduled on-campus fall courses. These courses have been modified as on-campus classroom instruction will not be offered for the Fall 2020 Semester.

Instead, all Fall 2020 semester classes will be offered in one of the following three formats:

Class Format:

Class Delivery:

Online with a schedule.  No on-campus presence.  Instructors and students log-in on specific days and times for class

Course Location RDL REMOTE

On-campus tuition rate

Some on-campus presence and some online presence

Course Location RDL REMOTE WITH specific day, time, date range, and classroom number if meeting on campus

If meeting virtually, a day and time is listed

On-campus tuition rate

No on-campus presence or need to be available on a specific day or time for class

Course Location either RDL RRCCONLINE or CCCONLINE

Online tuition rate

15-week full-term classes begin Monday, August 17th. See important dates or Search for classes online here.

Will classes be more expensive since they are mainly online?

Students taking the remote and hybrid courses will pay the on-campus rate for tuition. The online courses labeled RRCCOnline or CCCOnline will be the only courses that pay the online tuition rate. Click here for full details on tuition and fees. Payment Plans are available, and you may qualify for Financial Aid.

How are we preparing for these modified class formats?

In order to provide an outstanding learning experience for our students, we will be providing all of our faculty with professional development opportunities to work together to learn how to best use digital media for remote and hybrid instruction and continue to provide engaging virtual classroom spaces. While we had to transition rapidly in the spring, we have the opportunity this fall to be prepared and more intentional about designing and delivering your courses.
