Red Rocks Community College in partnership with Warren Tech High School provides students the opportunity to earn college credit, while exploring educational pathways in healthcare. Upon successful competition from Warren Tech’s Healthcare & Sciences (HMS) program, students will receive credit towards a certificate or degree at Red Rocks.

Program Information

Red Rocks Community College offers a variety of health sciences pathways for students interested in pursuing a rewarding career in healthcare.

Medical Assistant (MA) program
*According to the CO Department of Labor, by 2020 metro Denver will need 39% more medical assistants, and increasingly area employers are requiring medical assistants to be certified. Medical Assistants have a great amount of variety in their jobs and are cross-trained to perform many administrative and clinical duties in the clinical setting.

Medical Office Technology (MOT) program
*Medical Office students learn office administration skills and can earn either a certificate or an Associate of Applied Science degree (AAS). If you are well organized, have compassion for those who are ill, and have good communication skills, you have some of the characteristics that can lead to success in a medical office career.

Integrated Nursing Pathway (INP)
*Red Rocks Community College and the University of Colorado’s College of Nursing offer a unique, integrated pathway to earn a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing. The Integrated Nursing Pathway (INP) program provides outstanding preparation for professional nursing practice. After the first year enrolled in the INP program, students graduate from RRCC with an Associate of General Studies degree, then transition to the College of Nursing at the Anschutz Medical Campus to integrate into the Traditional Pathways nursing program.
