The Lab

Technology, Software and Design Assistance

The IDIC lab is equipped with computers, a scanner, printer, document camera, writing tablet, webcams and a variety of software to create instructional videos and multimedia. The IDIC also has a sandbox where faculty and staff can play with exciting new technologies and even request new technologies to be tested. The center also provides individual assistance with developing and designing online and hybrid courses in Desire2Learn (D2L). In addition to students, Red Rocks faculty and staff are welcome to use the IDIC to explore how they can create departmental and campus wide training using our learning management system, D2L.
