The Music Audio Production certificate will prepare students with the knowledge, skills, and techniques necessary to compete and thrive in the evolving world of music recording and production. Students will acquire foundational skills and best practices through a combination of musical training, coursework, hands-on studio work, and targeted externships to enable certificate holders to take their place in the growing fields of audio engineering, location and studio recording, music production, and sound reinforcement. Today, skilled audio technicians are in demand in both music production, and as a component of mixed media, web, and the video games industry.
