MGD 268 Business for Creatives: Business for Creatives in Graphic Design, Photography, Animation, Web Design, and Multimedia presents a guide to freelance work and a study of business practices and procedures and models unique to creative occupations (graphic design, photography, web design, fine arts). Discussion includes determining charges, business forms, business planning, tax structure, licenses and registration, self-promotion (resume, website, portfolio, and business identity package). PHO 278, 279 Professional Inkjet Printing

PHO 278, 279 Professional Inkjet Printing: The darkroom was a required skill for film photographers, what has replaced it in the age of digital? Learn how to produce professional quality digital prints from your images. Students recreate many of the skills from traditional darkroom using a variety of image editing packages, producing prints using state of the art Canon and Epson printers.
