Civil Rights Road Trip Spring 2019 Trip

  • HIS 122: US History Since 1865 3 credits - Toni Nicholas
  • BUS 192: Civil Rights Law 3 credit

Trip Duration: May 20 -31, 2019 

Classroom sessions precede trip: February 8 - May 10, 2019, Fridays, 10:30am-1:30pm
Hours & Locations will vary. 
Fridays will be service learning with a mix of classroom base

Highlights:

  • Supreme Court, Holocaust Museum, National Mall.
  • Civil Rights Institute, Kelly Ingram Park, 16th Street Baptist Church.
  • Selma Bridge, Montgomery Civil Rights Memorial & Memorial for Peace & Justice.
  • French Quarter, WWII Museum, Whitney Plantation.
  • Lorraine Motel, Stax Records.
