Program Highlights
Students in New Mural Painting Course will Beautify Campus While Learning Valuable Skills
The course will teach students to pitch, design and paint murals. “We’ll discuss everything from how to seek out those opportunities and how to set up. It’s an avenue where students can be successful.”
RRCC Gets New Soda Kiln To Accommodate More Ceramics Projects
A grant paid for new soda kiln for the ceramics department, a unique feature in a community college, but it also offered an opportunity to connect to a former student.
"It's a great hands-on learning experience for students," said Deborah Dell, visual arts professor at RRCC.
RRCC Premieres "Scars: Unmasked"
Scars: Unmasked is an original production inspired by the Gateway Program at RRCC. College Gateway is an incredibly successful program for individuals who have been incarcerated and are now doing the transformational work of building new lives after release from prison.

Two people wash up on a distant shore following a violent boating accident. Dazed by their experience, they look for a path home. But they discover that this unfamiliar land is not what it seems. Unflinchingly honest and tenderly lyrical, Meet Me at Dawn is a modern fable exploring the triumph of everyday love, the mystery of grief, and the temptation to become lost in a fantasy future that will never be.
