Engineering is the application of science, mathematics, and design to solve real-world problems. The engineering department at Red Rocks Community College aims to fully immerse students in all stages of the design process from problem definition through prototype construction and validation. We offer an Associate of Engineering Science degree that covers general education requirements with additional engineering courses to prepare students to complete the second half of a Bachelor of Science in a specific engineering discipline. Our students have moved on to jobs in various engineering disciplines including mechanical, civil, electrical, computer, chemical, biomedical, and others.
