In our early childhood education program you will learn about early childhood development and behavior and the teaching practices essential to supporting the growing child from birth to age 8 years. You will also learn about how to communicate with children and their families to ensure that each child receives the attention he or she deserves.
Specific Skills You Will Learn
Throughout the course of a childhood education program you will become skilled in the assessment of the educational needs of children, learn observation techniques, child development theories and how to use them. All our certificate and degree programs include classroom time with children as a way of gaining hands-on experience.

Gainful Employment Information
The US Department of Education requires colleges to disclose a variety of information for any financial aid eligible program that "prepares students for gainful employment in a recognized occupation." However, we hope that this information is helpful to our current students and to prospective students as they make their career and educational choices.
