Journalism

The Journalism program at RRCC includes both an Associate of Arts (AA) degree for transfer and an Associate of Applied Science (AAS) for direct-to-career pathways, along with stackable certificates in new media and digital journalism. Students gain core reporting and storytelling skills while building hands-on experience in photography, video, design, and multimedia production. The AAS emphasizes applied digital storytelling, preparing graduates to create content across print, digital, and media platforms.
