Clarence supports the leadership potential of Asian and Pacific Islander STEM professionals. He is the past president and CEO of the Asian Chamber of Commerce. He received the Rosa Parks Diversity Award from the University of Colorado Denver (2015) and was recognized by the Colorado Asian Culture and Education Network as an Asian American Hero of Colorado (2013).

John served in Army intelligence before dedicating his career to support the national security enterprise. He is past chairman of the Arvada Planning Commission and has been involved with Scouting America and local youth rugby, and he has served on various committees for Arvada and Jeffco Public Schools.

Landon Pirius | Red Rocks Foundation Secretary

Landon became the tenth president of Red Rocks in 2024. He joined the college from the Colorado Community College System (CCCS), where he served most recently as vice chancellor for academic and student affairs and was involved in legislative efforts to improve college affordability and expand Colorado workforce development programs.

Robb spent 24 years with Piper Jaffray and 12 years with Jeffco Public Schools as a social worker and administrator. He has served on the boards of Family Tree, Highland Rescue Team Ambulance District, Foothills Arts Center, Scholars Choice, and other organizations, and was a 20-year volunteer firefighter with Genesee Fire.

Agneta Albinsson

Agneta is originally from Sweden, where she worked in preclinical research at a pharmaceutical company, and moved to Jefferson County in 1990. She took a public speaking class at Red Rocks while working on her PhD dissertation and has been involved with the college ever since. Agneta is a University of Colorado Foundation trustee and former board member.

John G. Brant

John is a graduate of the University of Oklahoma (BBA) and the University of Texas (JD) and was admitted to practice law in Texas, Colorado, and the U.S. Tax Court. He started his career as an IRS estate tax attorney then worked in private practice in Jefferson County (1974-2010). John co-founded Branzan Investment Advisors in 2002.

LaTrice Brewster

 Since 2009, LaTrice has worked in marketing for Horizons North Credit Union, a financial institution that serves the North metro area of Denver and the staff, parents, and students of the Adams 12 Five Star Schools District. 

Paul Bustos

Paul’s expertise spans technical design, sales support, team collaboration, and C-level relationship-building. At NetApp, an intelligent data management and storage solution provider, Paul supports media and entertainment companies’ technical strategies. Previously, he was a senior solutions consultant for companies like Sanity Solutions and Hitachi Vantara, where he helped build the technical expert team.

Kim Carver

CEO, The Leading Network, and Vice President, The Rinderknecht Company

Kim has launched 11 television networks globally, including the Mountain West Sports Network. She was president/CEO of Altitude Sports and the World Fishing Network. Kim founded The Leading Network in 2015. She is currently VP of the Rinderknecht Company and serves on boards for the Colorado Sports Hall of Fame and PBS12. 

Bill Conrad

Bill has had an extensive career with Xcel Energy and was named the firm’s key accounts group manager in 2016. He manages key account managers delivering services and products to Xcel Energy’s largest business customers in Colorado. 

Michael Coughlin

Owner, 240 Union Restaurant
Board Member Since 2004

Michael co-founded the new American restaurant, 240 Union, in 1988, and has been serving the Lakewood and greater Denver community ever since. He was awarded a Lifetime Achievement Award by the Colorado Restaurant Association and inducted into the Colorado Foodservice Hall of Fame in 2024. 

Alicia Disantis

Alicia is the owner of a branding, design, and illustration studio that helps purpose-driven clients in technology, banking, and other industries. She is an adjunct professor of marketing for Mary Baldwin University.

Jill Fellman

Jill was an educator in Jeffco Public Schools for over 30 years. She currently serves on the Jefferson County Public Library Board of Trustees and is a former board member of the Jeffco Public Schools Board of Education and the Colorado Association of School Boards.

Michelle Fournier Johnson

Chief Human Resources and Communications Officer, Bozeman Health

Michelle has worked in human resources for over 30 years. In her current role with Bozeman Health, she provides executive-level support for human resources, educational and professional development, and marketing and communications. She is a volunteer for the Women’s Leadership Institute at Michigan State University and a past board member for Mi Casa Resource Center. 

Michael Kosakowski

Michael has spent his career in the banking industry with FirstBank, where he focuses on commercial lending and business banking. He holds a Bachelor of Science in business from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse and an executive leadership certificate from the Pacific Coast Banking School at the University of Washington.

Dan Leach

Dan started his career as a professional jazz pianist. Thereafter, he held many roles for a range of companies and organizations. Dan worked in real estate, petroleum equipment, telecommunications, and management consulting. He was an executive for AT&T/US West and the vice president of administration for Lutheran Medical Center.

Tom Menk

Tom is an entrepreneur who has owned and invested in several businesses, including those in real estate, manufacturing, distribution, importing, and restaurants. He has worked as an insurance broker for five decades and owns Menk Insurance Agency, LLC. Currently, he is the chairman/treasurer and managing partner of Anti-Microbial Solutions, a technology company.

Doris Stipech

Doris helped people with their insurance needs for over 30 years. Today, she helps her community through her involvement at Red Rocks Community College, the Arvada Jefferson Kiwanis Club, Arvada Chamber of Commerce, Arvada Wheat Ridge Service Ambassadors for Youth (AWRSAY), and Feeding the Future. 

John Trefny, PhD

President Emeritus, Colorado School of Mines
Board Member Since 2005

John was the 15th president of Colorado School of Mines. He is the namesake of the Red Rocks Trefny Honors Program and a former governing board member and past chairman of the Colorado Community College System. John serves on the boards of the CCCS Foundation and several other nonprofits.

Shileen Tucker

Shirleen served in the Colorado State House of Representatives for District 26 (1987- 1998). Thereafter, she was the director of the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment’s mobile sources program. Currently, Shirleen is the vice president of finance and treasurer for the Achievement Rewards for College Scientists (ARCS) Foundation’s Colorado chapter.

Denise Waddell
