Meet Cindy"My name is Cindy, and I am attending Red Rocks in pursuit of a BSN. I decided to go back to school after a layoff in my field as a Pipefitter/Welder. I have worked in the construction field for a little over 25 years, and when things were slow, I had to take a job making significantly less money.
While I am very blessed to have this job, I wanted to pursue my original career choice in nursing. I am a mother of four children, and the funds for college just were not there. I found out that Red Rocks has many opportunities to help people to get the money needed to take these steps.
The Foundation at Red Rocks, which offers scholarship programs, opened up doors for me that I would have never been able to walk through if not for them. They also showed me other resources available that I could look into, to help me achieve my goals. So, don’t be afraid to step out and make the first step. There are people along the path that want to help you succeed in meeting your goals. "
