Red Rocks Community College Foundation Scholarship Program

Scholarship Program Overview

The Red Rocks Community College Foundation offers a wide variety of scholarships based on both need and merit.  An applicant’s grades, academic and professional goals, financial need, community service, and special circumstances are all evaluated in the awarding process.

By filling out the Red Rocks Community College Foundation Scholarship Application, applicants apply for consideration for all of the Foundation’s scholarship awards. Scholarships amounts vary, but generally start at $300 per semester.

The deadline has passed for submitting applications for scholarships for the 2013-2014 academic year. Scholarship applications for the 2014-2015 academic year will be available in January 2014.

Email questions about the scholarship program to scholarships@rrcc.edu.

Scholarship Program Application Guidelines

ELIGIBILITY: To be eligible to apply for RRCC Foundation Scholarships, applicants must:

  • Be a current RRCC student or be eligible for RRCC admission
  • Be a US citizen or Permanent Resident
  • Be a Colorado resident (PA students are exempt from this requirement)
  • Provide a recent academic transcript. Preference is 2.0 GPA or higher

Scholarship Tips

We strongly recommend that you complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid Form (FAFSA) in addition to applying for Foundation scholarships. The FAFSA form is available on-line at: www.fafsa.ed.gov. Although completing the FAFSA form is not required for RRCCF Scholarship consideration, financial need is a judging component for some awards. By completing the FAFSA form, applicants may be eligible for a larger pool of financial assistance. For more information about financial aid, please visit the RRCC Financial Aid Office.
