We achieve this through courses offered in multiple areas of performing arts, award-winning productions, and job-skill training opportunities for students who are interested in personal enrichment or pursuing a professional career in theatre arts and dance.

Program Overview

The RRCC Theatre Arts & Dance Department does not operate in a bubble. Our favorite productions and collaborations happen with artists in our community and beyond. 

A degree in Theatre Arts opens the door to entry-level professional theatre employment in performance and as entertainment industry technicians; performance and technical support in film and television production; costume design and construction; set construction; lighting and set design and implementation.  It also assists in developing students for careers in interior design, fashion, and creative writing.
