Informed By Our Community

Our 2026-2030 strategic plan is the product of a comprehensive, collaborative effort that included extensive community engagement, a thorough review of RRCC outcomes and survey data, and benchmarking against state and national best practice models and trends.

We collected and analyzed 926 responses from students, faculty, staff and partners through surveys, focus groups, a community conversation, and internal visioning sessions.

Throughout the Spring of 2026, RRCC’s Collaboration Council evaluated the data and recommended the goals and actions in this plan.

How We Will Make Progress

Redesign institutional structures, supports, and enrollment strategies around clearly defined student personas and mapped journeys to remove barriers, close equity gaps, and better align to the lived realities of today’s learners.

Formalize a data informed, forward-looking program review process that ensures offerings remain relevant and agile to meet workforce demands and the evolving needs of our learners and communities.

Strengthen systems and relationships to support meaningful partnerships across the community to expand opportunities for students to access workforce training, meet industry needs, and engage in work-based learning.

Invest in and embed strategic marketing and communications practices that support the full learner and partner journey to improve how students, employees, and partners access and navigate RRCC.

Implement a campus-wide data-informed culture by improving data access, literacy, and decision-making to strengthen accountability and drive measurable progress toward student success and strategic goals.

Redesign and streamline processes to reduce administrative burden for employees and learners and deliver a more seamless, responsive experience.

Enhance the employee experience by aligning career growth, workplace culture, total rewards, and institutional mission to strengthen attraction, engagement, and retention.
